Benjamin Ernest Lyle Sr.'s Obituary
Benjamin E. Lyle, Sr., 84, Belleview, Florida passed away on September 8, 2016 at Ocala Regional Medical Center, Ocala, Florida. Mr. Lyle was born in Dalton, Georgia on December 6, 1931 to his parents James L. and Manilla B. Lyle. In the early 1940’s he and his family moved to Sumter County and settled in Center Hill near Bushnell. In 1971 Mr. Lyle moved to Belleview, Florida and worked at Russell’s Thriftway Grocery Store, where he retired from. Mr. Lyle served with the U.S. Army’s 4th Division during the Korean War. He was a lifetime member of the Disabled American Veterans, a 30year member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #8083 and a former member of the Belleview Moose Lodge #1014. He is survived by his sons: Benjamin E. (Sue) Lyle, Jr. and Larry N. (Patricia) Lyle both of Webster, Florida; three grandchildren: Kassie Henderson, Kimberly Wilson and Summer Jean Rojero ; eight great-grandchildren, and his significant friend Corinne Ann Pelletier. Graveside Services will be held at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, Florida with Military Honors at a date to be confirmed.
