Beatrice Bea Kay Smith's Obituary
Beatrice Kay (Bea Kay) Smith, age 77, of Wildwood, passed away Saturday, April 4, 2009. Bea Kay moved to the area in 1992 from Canisteo, N.Y. She was a retired florist and owned B.K's Boutique in Canisteo, N.Y. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Canisteo, N.Y., a member of the Eastern Star Cameron Mills Order and a member of the Canisteo Kahoco Club. Bea Kay was preceded in death by her loving husband of 47 years, Paul D. Smith and a brother, William Gams. She is survived by a son, Paul David (Margaret) Smith of Berne, N.Y; daughters: Kris (Mike) Micglire of Leesburg; Diane (Tony) DeWitte of San Jaun Capistrano, Calif.; and Susan (James) Sanfilippo of Gainesville, Ga.; grandchildren: Michelle Davis; Jennifer Stewart; Colin Smith; Cassandra Sanfilippo; Ian Smith; Katrina Micglire; James Paul Sanfilippo; Samantha Sanfilippo and Leah DeWitte; brothers: Robert (Anita) Gams of Canisteo, N.Y.; Richard (Beth) Gams of Waterloo, S.C.; sisters: Helen (Michael) Dineen of Wildwood; and Cynthia (Thomas) Scorsolini of Robinsville, N.Y.; four great-grandchildren and 20 nieces and nephews. Bea Kay was also survived by a beloved friend, Donald Lynch. Should friends desire, memorial contributions may be made to: Alzheimer's Assoc., 6640 Van Burien St., Newport Richie, FL 34653.
