Barbara Jeanette Hood's Obituary
Barbara Jeanette Hood, 60, Wildwood, Florida went to be with the Lord on March 10, 2016 at Leesburg Regional Medical Center, Leesburg, Florida. Ms. Hood was born on May 24, 1955 in Ocala, Florida to her parents Thomas Hood and Mary (Phillips) Hood. She was a lifelong resident of Wildwood and she was a part of the Oxford Assembly of God Church in Oxford. Barbara was well known by the local residents of Wildwood and was “Loved by all”. Family was most important to Barbara and keeping everyone on the straight and narrow was her job. She is survived by her loving children: Sara Hood of Wildwood, FL, Robin (Robert) Graves of Mississippi and Dennis Milton of Inverness, FL; brothers: Tommy Hood of Wildwood, FL and James Hood of Oxford, FL; sister: Margaret Hood of Texas; six loving grandchildren and many nieces and nephews and grand nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Patricia Phillips. A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, March 14, 2016 at 11:00AM at Oxford Assembly of God Church in Oxford, Florida.
