Anne H Smith's Obituary
Anne Hill Smith, 90, of Wildwood, passed away on July 30, 2013. Ms. Smith was born on September 9, 1922 in Coleman, Florida to her parents John Andrew and Meda Lee (Wicker) Hill. Ms. Smith was a lifelong resident and a member of Coleman United Methodist Church for over 20 years. She was a homemaker, and her friends and family will fondly remember her delicious fried chicken, rice & milk gravy and her conch peas.
She is survived by her son; Harley (Ellen) Smith, of Gainesville, daughters; Nancy Smith Chapman, of Coleman, Marilyn (Steven) Locke, of Olathe, KS, brother; Bill Hill of Wildwood, nine grandchildren and 16 great grand children.
She was preceded in death by her husband Preston Harley Smith Jr., and one son, Larry Smith.
Graveside services for Ms. Smith will be held on Thursday, August 1, 2013 at 10 AM, at Greenwood Cemetery, Wildwood. In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations be made to Coleman United Methodist Church. Arrangements are entrusted to Banks/Page-Theus Funerals and Cremations, Wildwood.
