Alan L Underhill's Obituary
Alan L. Underhill, 76, Wildwood, FL went to be with the Lord on June 20, 2013 under the loving care of his family at The Villages Hospital. Mr. Underhill was born on August 31, 1936 in Malden, Missouri to Alvin L. and LaNelle M. Underhill.
Mr. Underhill was a Marketing Executive for the Kroger Company. He then launched several entrepreneurial enterprises, including a security system company and a real estate investment and rehabilitation business. In later years, he was a full time RVer with his wife, and developed a business that prepared site maps and tourist guides.
Mr. Underhill was a member of Calvary Baptist Church of Fruitland Park, FL and a Veteran of the U.S. Navy Reserve during the Post Korean Period. He was a member of the Cincinnati Real Estate Investors Association, and Founding Vice President and Board member of the Ohio Real Estate Investors Association. He was also a Senior Arbitrator for the Better Business Bureau’s National Consumer Arbitration Program.
He is survived by his loving wife Linda Underhill of Wildwood, FL; a son: Michael (Kathryn) Underhill of Vienna, VA; two daughters: Kim (Brad) Wilkins of Waukesha, WI and Stacey (Daryl) Wolking of Purcellville, VA; a sister: Meredith Cazort of Boothwyn, PA; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held Monday, June 24, 2013 at 10:00AM at Calvary Baptist Church, Fruitland Park, FL with a Visitation to be held prior to the service from 9:00am to the hour of service at the church. Burial to follow the service at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Leesburg, FL. On-line condolences may be shared by visiting www.bankspagetheus.com.
