We are so sorry for your loss, Rich. We have known Dick and Joan for years since they first came to CCC and were regulars at the club. We partied with them and shared a lot of laughs. I was able to help your Mom take care of your Dad a few times when he was sick. Your mom was a special lady and will be missed by so many. We are so grateful and happy for you and your mother that you were able to be here for her. The time you shared in her last years will be forever in your heart and your memories.

Hugs Rich, I love this picture of Joan it captures her wonderful personality, I loved her wit and candor. I remember when I first moved here 20 years ago,she was one of the first people I golfed with, which was always a good time, sometimes your dad and John would play. It was interesting that when I decided to try fused glass. I arrived that day and there she was - I learned a lot from her . She would challenge me and I would try to do what she said I could not. We shared a lot of laughs, She was very proud of you and grateful that you were there for her, She loved you very much never forget that and the good times, I am going to miss her.....

Mrs Civil was like a second mom to me as a child. She always welcomed me into her home with loving arms. Invited for for holidays when she knew ours were scarce. Her and me Civil were 2 of the nices people you could ever want to have around. They were quick to make you laugh and always willing to correct you for being wrong. Forced you to eat your veggies and just be nice to each other.

I so loved this lady. She was one of the first ladies I came to know at Continental Country Club. She was so talented and gave of herself to help others. She will be greatly missed.
