Jeanie Anne Schmeichel, 73 passed away Friday, January 7, 2022. Jeanie was born on Tuesday, December 21, 1948 in Lancaster, Pennsylvania to Rev. Carl K. Marks and Norma Byerly. She was preceded in death by her parents and Stepmother Jane Stowe. She is now eternally reunited and resting with all her parents. Jeanie is survived by her Husband of 50 years - Jan Schmeichel; Sister - Patti Bookbinder; Daughter - Elizabeth Farley; Son - Carl Schmeichel; Granddaughter/Adopted Daughter - Kayla Schmeichel-Ashby, Granddaughter - Alicia Schmeichel-Allen; Grandsons - Thomas Allard & Timothy Farley; Great Grandson Benntli Schmeichel-Ashby and Numerous other loving family members and friends. Bachelor’s Degree in Teaching and Retired as a Distributor from Tupperware after 39 years. Jeanie’s smile touched/lifted so many people. Also, she will be remembered as a very kind, loving, generous soul, who would take care of family or friends without hesitation. There will be a Celebration of Life Memorial Service on Saturday, March 5th, 2022 at 3:00pm located at UCC at The Villages, Florida.
