Cam Kurer
My deepest condolences to the John family. I had the distinct honor and privilege of serving under Mr. John's leadership at Mayville Middle School from 1979 to 1987. His encouragement and support of the science program there lead to its award recognition at the State of Wisconsin Society of Science Teacher's Convention in Lacrosse, Wisconsin. Mr. John was a well qualified school administrator who worked tirelessly to improve the quality of science education in Mayville. His impact on hundreds of science students is part of his ongoing legacy to this day. I have fond memories of Mr. John who hired me. He would personally deliver the pay checks that would sit in my mailbox for weeks and announce that I was too independently wealthy. Certainly, having crossed paths with such a exemplary individual as Mr. John, was a wealthy experience that I will never forget. Cam Kurer, Science Instructor.
